This outpatient procedure is preformed under anesthesia to reposition the Ulnar nerve, near the elbow, to prevent it from sliding or being pinched by the surrounding bones. A small incision is made along the inner elbow to allow the surgeon to reposition the nerve. After the surgery the patient may need to wear a splint for a few weeks, but is allowed to go home immediately following the surgery.
